Remove the threaded cap from your new stem and thread it onto the puller dangling inside the tire. When the sealant is installed inflate the tire hold the wheel vertical and start shaking your wheel forward and back while holding your hands in the 10 and 2 oclock position. This does however require removing the valve stem or removing the tire from the rim. Valve stems should be inspected periodically for cracking leaking or deterioration and they should be replaced as needed.
